Int 1374-2016
Utilization of preventive services.
The proposed bill would require the Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) to provide quarterly reports on the utilization of preventive services. Preventive services are provided to children and families with the goal of averting entries into foster care or facilitating family reunifications. The quarterly reports would include the number of families and the number of children who received preventive services, entered foster care during the month and had previously received preventive services, received preventive services after reunification, received ACS family services monitoring and preventive services, and, to the extent such data is available to ACS, lived in homeless shelters while receiving preventive services.
