Tracking progress made towards the requirements of the streets master plan.
A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to tracking progress made towards the requirements of the streets master plan
This bill would require the Department of Transportation, as part of its annual streets plan update, to provide a description of all projects planned for that year that will contribute to the requirements of the streets master plan, and the contribution each project will make to those requirements. The Department would also be required to provide updates three times a year about the progress of each project including the actual and estimated start and completion dates, community board presentations if applicable, project funding, and whether any delays or cost overruns have occurred, and additionally provide monthly updates about the current status of projects in the construction phase.
