Amend the retirement and social security law (S.7457/ A.11487)

State Legislation Resolution requesting the New York State Legislature to pass bills introduced by Senator Golden, S.7457, and Committee on Rules, A.11487, “AN ACT to amend the retirement and social security law, in relation to the additional member contributions payable by participants in the twenty-five year retirement programs for certain members of the uniformed force of the New York City department of correction established pursuant to article 14 of such law, and in relation to the establishment of a twenty-year retirement program for certain members of such uniformed correction force of such city who are subject to article 14 of such law; and to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to providing for employer pick up, pursuant to provisions of the federal internal revenue code, of certain additional member contributions required to be made by participants in such twenty-year retirement program”.
