State Legislation Resolution requesting the New York State Legislature to pass bills introduced by Assembly Member Connelly, A.7629, and Senator Marchi, S.4475. "AN ACT in relation to authorizing the city of New York to discontinue as park and land a portion of North Shore Esplanade Park in the borough of Staten Island which is not needed for park purposes and to transfer such land to the department of transportation of such city for street purposes related to the demolition of the Bank Street Bridge in exchange for the dedication as park land of a greater amount of land of an equal or greater fair market value than the discontinued park land".
