Int 1871-2020
Separability of unconsolidated local laws.
This bill would provide by default that the Council intends to preserve portions of enacted unconsolidated local laws, or unconsolidated local law sections, if a court strikes down other provisions of such laws. Similar severability clauses already exist governing consolidated provisions of the Charter and Administrative Code.
