Cigarette Sales Via Internet, Prohibited

Resolution urging the New York State Legislature to pass A.6510, introduced on March 2, 1999 by Assemblyman Jeffrey Klein, which would amend section 480-a of the tax law in relation to prohibiting the sale of cigarettes at retail via the internet and the retail delivery of cigaretts by common or contract carrier.
