Armenian Martyrs' Day
Resolution declaring April 24, 1998 as Armenian Martyrs' Day in New York City, urging the people of New York City and all people around the world to remember this great tragedy and commemorate this date, calling upon the President of the United States to obtain from the present Turkish government an acknowledgment of the genocide perpetrated against the Armenian people between 1915 and 1923 and directing the City Clerk to forward a copy of this resolution to the President of the United States.
