Household Cleansers, Warnings

Resolution calling upon the United States Congress and the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission to recognize the inadequacy of the Federal Hazardous Substance Labeling Act in providing sufficient warnings and handling instructions to consumers of common household cleansers, urging that the Federal Hazardous Substance Labeling Act be strengthened so as to provide efective protection for the consumers of these products, and calling upon the appropriate committee of the Council to hold hearing to explore legislative solutions to the problem of inadequate labeling of common household cleansers containing hazardous substances.
