Revise the State Retirement and Social Security Law

Resolution calling upon the New York State Legislature to revise the State Retirement and Social Security law to ensure that all State and City employees who are hired in the future who are later convicted of or plead guilty to serious criminal conduct in connection with their State or City employment will be prohibited from collecting the publicly funded portion of their pension, or, alternatively, to grant the City the authority to enact legislation prohibiting City employees who are hired in the future who are later convicted of or plead guilty to serious criminal conduct in connection with their City employment from collecting the publicly funded portion of their pension.
