Mental Health Reinvestment Act, State Continue

Resolution calling upon the New York State Legislature to pass A.6786-D, introduced by Members of Assembly Sanders, Brennan, Connelly, Eve, Harenberg and Vann, which extends and enhances the original Community Mental Health Reinvestment Act for five years through State Fiscal Year 2003-2004 and increases the amount of State savings associated with closing each State-operated, non-geriatric adult inpatient bed by $3,000 to no less that $60,500 per bed.
