Wetlands Permits, New York City Watershed

Resolution calling upon the New York District of the United States Army Corps of Engineers to adopt the proposed regional condition for new wetlands permits within th New York City watershed, set forth in its November 18, 1998 Public Notice, whichwould require individual Clean Water Act permits prior to the dredging or filling of wetlands greater than one-third of an acre, in order to protec the public health of the nearly nine million New Yorkers who rely on the New York City drinking water supply.
