Access-A-Ride Reform

Resolution calling upon the Metropolitan Transit Authority New York Transit Authority to reform its contrats for para-transit services by establishing stricter performance criterion on Access-A-Ride contractors, imporving the automated scheduling system, enhancing the training of employees of Access-A-Ride contractors, and confer with the Taxi and Limousine Commission and the disabled community on the best way to establish a back-up system for stranded riders that uses For-hire vehicles.
