Conrail Derailment, Oversight Hearing

Resolution calling upon Conrail and CSX Transportation, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, the New York State Rail Safety Bureau and the Office of Passenger and Freight Safety, the National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Railroad Administration to report to the City Council on the final results of their investigation into the Contral freight train derailment at the River Avenue Overpass in The Bronx on September 18, 1998.
