Dietary Supplements, Test and Regulate
Resolution calling upon Congress to restore the authority of the Food and Drug Administration to test and regulate dietary supplements prior to their marketing, calling upon the Food and Drug Administration to study the effects of such supplements on people of all ages and th interactios of such supplements with other supplements and drugs and be vigilant in informing th public of such findgins, and calling upon the appropriate Committee of the City Council to conduct hearings on local legislation that may help in conveying important information to the public about such supplements during this period of their increasing use and under regulation at the federal level.
