Resolution calling upon the appropriate committee of the Council of the City of New York to hold hearings on the timeliness of the Department of Sanitation's program for replacement of litter baskets and the placement of additional litter baskets at commercial and residential locations with increased retail activity and heavy pedestrian traffic.
