New York City Corporate Welfare, Hearings
Resolution calling upon the appropriate committee of the Council to conduct hearings on State Senator Franz Leichter's report, "New York City Corporate Welfare: City Tax Incentives Granted by the Giuliani Administration, A Failed and Foolish Policy," and recommending that the City's economic development policy and corporate retention deals be redirected away from large corporations that are not adding new jobs for City residents and towards helping small companies grow.
