Cell Phone Antennas
Resolution calling on the Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications (DoITT) to use the $25 million it is receiving as a result of an agreement with telecommunications companies allowing them to install cell phone technology on lampposts and traffic signals, to engage private inspectors to inspect radiation levels throughout the City on a regular basis and to provide funding for a study of the health effects of long term exposure to multiple cell phone antennas.
