Int 0106-2014
Requiring a sign at inaccessible building entrances indicating that a portable ramp is available when such a ramp exists.
This bill would require building owners to post a sign that a portable ramp is available for access to the building at inaccessible building entrances, where that ramp exists. The New York City Building Code already requires directional signage at inaccessible building entrances indicating the route to the nearest accessible entrance.
