Int 1152-2018
Requiring an online payment grace period.
This bill would establish a 48-hour grace period for a system failure that disables a City website used to make online payments and lasts 24 hours or longer, during which time neither late payment fees nor interest should be incurred for any payment due during the time of the system failure. Affected City agencies would also have the discretion to extend the grace period by up to seven days.
