Int 1148-2016
Requiring the DOE and the DOC to report on educational programming for adolescents and young adults.
This bill would require the Department of Correction and the Department of Education to issue a yearly report on the education system for incarcerated adolescents and 18-21 year-old incarcerated individuals. This report must include statistics on attendance rates, standardized test scores, the rates of violence for all such incarcerated individuals, and other related indicators.
