Int 0093-2024
Requiring the department of health and mental hygiene to develop a healthy nyc population health agenda.
This bill would require the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) to develop a 5-year population health agenda for the purpose of improving public health outcomes, addressing health disparities, and improving quality of and access to health care for New Yorkers to increase life expectancy and improve health. This bill would also require DOHMH to submit such agenda to the Mayor, the Speaker of the Council, and post on the department’s website.
