Requiring the department of consumer and worker protection to confirm receipt of complaints related to fair work practices and to notify the person or entity under investigation of the receipt of the complaint.
This bill would require that the Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP) confirm receipt of a complaint alleging a violation of the city’s fair work practice laws within 30 days. DCWP would also be required to notify the employer of the complaint within 90 days.
