Int 1468-2025
Removing the requirement to obtain a revocable consent to operate a sidewalk cafe and a roadway cafe, and to repeal subdivision e of section 364 of such charter in relation thereto.
This bill would change the application process for sidewalk and roadway cafes by removing the requirement that restaurants obtain a revocable consent in order to operate a cafe on the City’s streets or sidewalks. Restaurants seeking to operate an outdoor cafe would need only to obtain a license from the Department of Transportation.
