Providing vision testing and eyeglasses to low-income individuals.
This bill would require the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene or another agency designated by the Mayor that has appropriate subject matter expertise to establish a program to provide vision testing and eyeglasses to residents of the City whose annual gross household income is within 250 percent of the federal poverty level.
