A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to prohibiting the sale of disposable electronic cigarettes

This bill would prohibit the sale of disposable electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes). The prohibition would be enforced by the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, the Department of Consumer and Worker Protection, and the Department of Finance. Violations of the ban on disposable e-cigarettes would be punishable by civil penalties, license suspension, seizure, and sealing.
