This bill would require the New York City Police Department (NYPD) to develop materials regarding their youth programs and provide them to the Department of Education (DOE). The DOE would be tasked with distributing those materials to schools and students in the New York City school system, on request. Additionally, the police commissioner would, on request, provide council members with information about when these youth programs occur and would post materials on the NYPD’s website.
