OSHA notification act.
This bill would require the Department of Buildings (“DOB”) to notify the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (“OSHA”) of any violations of the Construction Codes that would potentially endanger workplace safety. Further, DOB would be required to report to the Mayor and the Speaker of the City Council on the violations it reports to OSHA.
