Maximum fee allowed when transferring money to a person in the custody of the department of correction.
This bill would require the department of correction to ensure that members of the public depositing funds into institutional fund account established pursuant to subdivision 7 of section 500-c of the correction law are not charged a service fee that is more than $5.
