A Local Law to require the department of consumer affairs to conduct a retrospective review of existing sidewalk cafe violations

This bill requires the Department of Consumer Affairs to complete a review of all sidewalk café violations within both local law and agency rules, and make recommendations as to which of those violations should result in an opportunity to cure before a monetary fine is issued. For violations which the Department recommends no cure period, the report must include explanations of its rationale.
