A Local Law in relation to a study on hit-and-run incidents

This bill would require the Police Department, in consultation with the Department of Transportation, to conduct a study on hit-and-run incidents in the city and provide a report on the causes of hit-and-run incidents, what leads drivers to flee the scene of such incidents, how such incidents are investigated, and measures that the city can take to decrease the number of hit-and-run incidents and increase the chances that drivers responsible for such incidents are apprehended.
