A Local Law in relation to a study by the department of health and mental hygiene on the causes of rising wait times in emergency departments

This bill would require the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to study the causes of prolonged wait times at emergency departments, as well as the effects such wait times have on patients’ health. The report would be due April 1, 2020.
