This bill would require the Department of Transportation to conduct a study of traffic congestion resulting from truck deliveries in Manhattan below 59th Street and in Downtown Brooklyn. The bill would require such study to include traffic congestion from truck deliveries at all hours of the day, night and overnight, and to include an analysis of the feasibility and necessity of implementing measures to reduce traffic congestion resulting from truck deliveries. The bill would require DOT to implement feasible measures deemed necessary. Such study would be due no later than June 30, 2018.
