A Local Law in relation to providing mental health counseling to healthcare professionals who provided healthcare services during the COVID-19 pandemic, and providing for the expiration and repeal of such requirement
This bill would require the Mayor to establish a program for the purpose of promoting access to mental health counseling among healthcare professionals who may be dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder or other negative mental health effects of providing healthcare services during the COVID-19 pandemic. Such program would provide mental health counseling to such professionals or reimburse such professionals for the costs of such counseling.
