A Local Law in relation to the creation of a temporary task force to evaluate the epidemic of diabetes in the city of New York and recommend a comprehensive, citywide strategy to reduce the epidemic of diabetes

This bill would create a temporary Diabetes Task Force, made up of a combination of Council and Mayoral appointees, to study, and to issue a report that makes recommendations relating to, diabetes in New York City. The recommendations would be required to include a comprehensive, citywide strategy to reduce the incidence of diabetes. The report would be due two years after enactment. The Diabetes Task Force would be disbanded after issuing the required report.
