A Local Law to amend the New York city charter, in relation to the establishment of a department of coastal protection

This bill would create a Department of Coastal Protection, headed by a Commissioner of Coastal Protection. The Commissioner would be responsible for developing policies and programs relating to coastal protection measures in the City and educating the public about such coastal protection measures.
