Notification of hate crimes.

A Local Law to amend the New York city charter, in relation to notification of hate crimes

Pursuant to section 20-g of the New York City Charter, the Office for the Prevention of Hate Crimes provides notification of a violent hate crime to the affected community and elected officials. This bill would expand this requirement to include notification of any hate crime to the affected community and elected officials.
