Establishment and development of school gardens.

A Local Law to amend the New York city charter, in relation to the establishment and development of school gardens

This bill would establish an interagency school community garden team within the Mayor’s Office of Sustainability. The team would include various representatives from City agencies responsible for developing initiatives and practices to promote the use of community gardens in schools. The team would also be required to submit an annual report to the Council on their efforts to promote school gardens.
