City agency attendance at council hearings.
A Local Law to amend the New York city charter, in relation to city agency attendance at council hearings
This bill would provide that, in any case in which testimony is presented by a city agency at a City Council committee hearing, an officer or employee of the agency must be in attendance for the entirety of the hearing to listen to all the questions and testimony presented at the hearing. The bill would only apply to a City Council committee hearing that is open to the general public.
