Enacting the “city workforce injury reduction act.”

A Local Law to amend the New York city charter and administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to enacting the “city workforce injury reduction act.”

This bill would create a Mayor’s office of risk management. It would also require City agencies to create a written plan to reduce workforce injuries. In addition, it would require City agencies to report data regarding workplace injuries and illnesses to the Mayor, Comptroller, Public Advocate and City Council Speaker.
