Creation of an office of risk management within the mayor’s office of operations.
A Local Law to amend the New York city charter, in relation to the creation of an office of risk management within the mayor’s office of operations.
This bill would amend the Charter of the City of New York to create the Office of Risk Management within the Mayor’s Office of Operations. Such office would work with city agencies to improve workplace safety and overall public health and safety; evaluate workplace accident, injury and illness data and make recommendations to agencies to help avoid recurring accidents; and analyze and coordinate agency workplace safety plans.
