Reporting requirements for summary actions involving urban renewal plans.
A Local Law to amend the New York city charter, in relation to publication and reporting requirements for urban renewal plans
This bill would require that the Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) notify relevant community boards, borough presidents, and council members when an urban renewal plan is going to expire and report to the mayor, the council, the affected council members and community boards information about all urban renewal areas currently or formerly designated in the City. The bill would also require HPD to post online information about the status of urban renewal plans, including any approved or pending extensions of expiration dates.
