A Local Law to amend the New York city charter, in relation to LGBTQ cultural competency training for city employees who regularly interact with the public

This bill would require the Mayor’s Office of Operations to develop and implement cultural competency trainings for all city employees who regularly interact with the public, with the specific purpose of providing those employees with knowledge and skills that will allow them to more effectively serve lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer New Yorkers.
