Medical Records, Office of the Medical Examiner
A Local Law to amend the New York City charter and the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to the establishment of the department of public health, to repeal and reenact section 556 of the charter relating to the functions, powers and duties of the department of public health, to repeal section 568 of the charter concerning creation of an addiction programs advisory counsel, and to repeal mental retardation and alcoholism services, and in relation to the authority of the chief medical examiner to require the attendance of persons and the production of medical records in investigations under the jurisdiction of the office of chief medical examiner.
