Hours of operation of adult-use cannabis retail dispensaries.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to hours of operation of adult-use cannabis retail dispensaries

This bill would set hours of operation for adult-use cannabis retail dispensaries in New York City. All adult-use cannabis retail dispensaries would be permitted to open at 9:30 AM and would have to close by 9:30 PM. The Department of Consumer and Worker Protection would be responsible for enforcement. Violation of this local law would result in civil penalties of $1,000 for a first violation and $2,000 for each subsequent violation committed on a different day within a period of 2 years after the date of the first violation.
