Collection and sale of organic waste and compost by community composters.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to the collection and sale of organic waste and compost by community composters

This bill would require DSNY to adopt rules which allow community composters to charge the general public for organic waste collection at drop-off sites. The bill would also allow community composters to sell compost generated from drop-off sites to the public.
