Creation of a mobile application on exercise and nutrition programs.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to the creation of a mobile application on exercise and nutrition programs

This bill would require the Commissioner of the Office of Technology and Innovation to create a mobile app with information on exercise and nutrition programs that are run by a city agency or submitted by a city agency for inclusion. City-contracted community-based organizations would be able to submit requests to include information about other exercise and nutrition programs in the app, and those programs would be included if approved by the Commissioner in consultation with the Commissioners of the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and the Department of Parks and Recreation.
