Afterschool programs.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to afterschool programs

This bill would require the Department of Education (DOE) and the Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) to each submit annual reports on the afterschool programs they offer, as well as those offered by their respective contractors. Specifically, DYCD and DOE would be required to report on program location, available seats, enrollment, student demographic data, and average attendance rate for each afterschool program offered in the previous school year.
