Queens Plaza/Court Square Business Improvement District (BID).
A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to authorizing a change in the name of the Queens Plaza/Court Square business improvement district, an increase in the amount to be expended annually in such district, an extension of the boundaries of such district, a change in the method of assessment upon which the district charge in such district is based, and an increase in the maximum total amount to be expended for improvements in such district
This bill would authorize the Queens Plaza/Court Square Business Improvement District to change its name to the Long Island City Business Improvement District (BID). This bill would also authorize an increase in the amount to be expended annually in the BID to $2,058,978. This bill would also extend the boundaries of the existing BID to incorporate new areas, amend the method by which the district charge is assessed, and increase the maximum amount allowed to be spent for improvements in the BID.
