Issuing newsstand licenses to operate abandoned newsstands and requiring an assessment of the viability of the location of new newsstands

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to issuing newsstand licenses to operate abandoned newsstands and requiring an assessment of the viability of the location of new newsstands

This bill would allow newsstand licensees to operate from an abandoned newsstand. This bill would also require the department of transportation to approve new newsstand locations based on foot traffic.
