Services that advertise delivery within 15 minutes

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to services that advertise delivery within 15 minutes

This bill would require that the following disclaimer be included in any advertising for delivery services that advertise delivery within 15 minutes or less: “Delivery is not guaranteed within 15 minutes. For the safety of the public and delivery workers, please allow more than 15 minutes for delivery.” In addition, such services would be prohibited from penalizing workers that fail to deliver within 15 minutes and would be required to disclose to these workers that they are not required to deliver within 15 minutes.
